Rinah Lang studied illustration in Groningen, the Netherlands, and in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has been working as a freelance illustrator in Berlin since 2000 – preferably in atelier communities. In 2004 she spent some time at ‘Eikes Grafischer Hort’ in Frankfurt am Main and in 2006 she worked at the Fornarina fashion label in Italy for a year. Rinah combines various techniques in her illustrations: she draws, prints and creates collages. Among other things, she finds her inspiration in old travel and fashion magazines, front gardens, misprints and foreign postage stamps.
