Munich-born illustrator and visual artist Sarah Illenberger gained a degree in Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins, where she discovered her talent for crafting illustrations by photographing and filming three-dimensional objects. She then moved on to work as a designer for Neon Magazine before setting up her studio in Berlin in 2007. Sarah draws most of her inspiration from the natural world. Creating installations using common, found materials, she decontextualizes objects and gives them a new meaning. Her work appears in books, magazines, digital media and window displays. Sarah has taught as a guest professor at the University of Arts Berlin and held various workshops and talks.
